2010 was a cool vintage. This year, our Pinot Blanc (usually blended) stood out on its own. Our 100% estate grown grapes developed green apple and grapefruit aromas persisting in the palate together with hints of pineapple. Natural acidity gives a clean crisp finish. Pairs perfectly with seafood.

This Cherry Point classic is pale straw in colour and displays aromas of grapefruit and apricot with underlying floral notes, typical of this blend and of our soils. A full palate of ripe peach lingers with balanced acidity. Pairs well with risotto, pasta and chicken.

2009 Forté

Cherry Point Estate Wines premium red wine is made with the best performing Castel, Agria and Zweigelt grapes. Forte is aged in old French oak barrels for 18 months giving the wine a supple velvety texture. This wine is dominated by a cherry aroma, with hints of plum and raspberry. The full-bodied fruity taste is suitable for pairing with all red meat dishes.

This 2009 Pinot Noir is produced from a single vineyard block that was carefully tended to during the spring to ensure early ripeness. This wine was aged in old oak barrels for 10 months and has big cherry aromas with hints of raspberry and undertones of clean cedar. A silky mouth-feel is brimming with cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavour notes. A perfect wine to pair with smoked salmon, roast beef or any favourite west coast dinner.

Bête Noire

Estate Grown The Legend Continues! Bête Noire is an estate grown wine made from a unique Hungarian varietal called Agria. This dark skinned grape has a dominant bouquet of anise and lavender with robust flavours of black currants and cherries with a lingering finish. 




 

Solera Blackberry

Solera is produced by taking our Cowichan Blackberry Dessert Wine and gently applying the special Solera aging process, giving the wine time to age in barrels, making it elegant and smooth, combining delicate wood notes and rich mellow fruit. The Solera aging process involves combining one blackberry vintage into another for ultimate complexity and richness.

2010 Classico Sparkling Pinot Gris

The 2010 growing season was cool and ideal for sparkling wine production. Our Pinot Gris made the perfect cuvee (base wine) with natural crisp acidity. The second fermentation was completed in bottle in our cellar. After disgorging the resulting sparkling wine carries the flavours and aromas of our terroir. The resulting fine persistent bubbles are achieved through the traditional methode champenoise.

 

2010 Sparkling Rose

Made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, it is crushed and the free run (a delicate pink colour) is fermented for our cuvee. The second fermentation is completed in bottle in our cellar. Aromas of fresh strawberries are lifted by the fine persistent bubbles achieved through the traditional methode champenoise.
